We have seen some major changes at the Primrose since the start of the season with several of the original committee leaving the club along with the Club chairman and secretary. We have also lost several players from last seasons side, with another six leaving in the last couple of months. However we have moved quickly to install a new large hard working committee who's only aim is to ensure the Primrose survive and prospour.

We are currently in talks with the Lodge 540 about fundraisng events which is another exciting move forward for the club.

We have a new experienced physio on board for this season, Gordon Dobbie (Gorry) has been around the juniors for years, most recently with Rosyth, we wish to welcome him to the Rose, already the players are benifiting from his experience.

We have recently signed a new goalkeeper & striker, Matthew Clark has joined us from St Andrews and is an exciting prospect, and we have also captured the signature of experienced ex - Kelty Hearts forward, Russell Smart, we are delighted to welcome both players to the club and wish them every success for the rest of the season. We have also agreed a loan deal with Peterhead FC, for their highly rated young midfielder, Jake Fitzgerald, again we welcome Jake to the Rose.

A big thank you to our Chairman Mick McNeely, Craig Wilson and several of our committee members for the amazing work that has been carried out at the Humbug over the last two months. The ground has been gutted and all rubbish, debris, etc has been removed. The drainage has now been completed to the park and all the lighting has been fully connected up, however we have run in to a small problem with the lights themselves. The old stand that came down in the storms has been fully removed and our neighbours fence has now been re-installed. We are currently negotiating with a local company about a sponsorship deal that would include refurbishment work at Humbug Park, this will hopefully happen early in the new year.

All in all with everyones efforts the park is looking the best it has for some time, we are hoping this will encourage our local community to come along and support the team on a Saturday afternoon, you will always receive a warm welcome  and you are the life blood of the club.

We are always looking for volunteers or members of the community to help, so if you can offer a spare hour or if you would like to join our committee we would love to see you. Our next Committee meeting is on Monday 7th January, 7pm at the Humbug.
